Grey is a lighting programmer and designer focused in live music and stage production. Ever since discovering lighting design through local theater productions in his Colorado hometown, he's been curious about how to create new and innovative approaches to design, programming, and creative development.

 

While attending college at the University of North Carolina School of the Arts, Grey saw a gap for upcoming professionals wanting to pursue a career in programming and design. There weren't many people leaving school wanting to bridge the gap between design and electrical arts, and Grey wanted to be one of the few to connect both sides into his own career path. Learning how to be a programmer and lighting director while on tour, Grey was able to start down the path of using his technical experience over equipment and control systems to better construct his approach to design and problem-solving. He's always been someone to engage with both creative and logical ideas and continues that in the way he approaches light.

Outside of his career, Grey is often hiking, creating music, and playing board games with his partner, Kat. He's also always on the hunt for the next best spot in LA to go for all-star cocktail experiences. (If you have a cocktail recommendation, send it his way!)
